Job Description
This ICU nurse position in the Surgical and Neuroscience ICU involves caring for critically ill adult patients with conditions like trauma, neurological injuries, and post-surgical complications.
Provides specialized care including monitoring ICP, brain oxygen, ventilator management, and invasive procedures.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, assessing patient needs, and collaborating on care plans.
Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and strong communication and organizational skills.
The role supports complex procedures such as arterial lines, drains, and bedside interventions, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
Work hours are evening shifts, with a salary range of $68,640 to $70,699.20, and hourly pay from $34.65 to $35.69.
