Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Med/Surg ICU (D3N) provides compassionate, patient-centered care during night shifts, implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments and tests.
They assess and interpret diagnostic tests, evaluate patient needs and responses, and apply sound nursing judgment for care decisions.
The role includes providing primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans, and guiding ancillary staff.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with preferred healthcare or clerical experience, basic computer skills, and certification preferred.
