The clinical Nurse in the Med/Surg ICU works night shifts, providing compassionate patient care and collaborating with the team.

Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and documenting care.

Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment in care decisions.

Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, and collaborates on patient care plans.

Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with preferred healthcare or clerical experience, and basic computer skills.

Must communicate effectively, work well with others, be honest, punctual, and adhere to policies and ethical standards.

Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, and handle sensitive information responsibly is essential.
