Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Med/Surg ICU (Night shift) provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound judgment for decision-making.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop a Plan of Care.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with preferred healthcare or clerical experience, basic computer skills, and possibly certification.
Must communicate effectively, work collaboratively, demonstrate ethical conduct, and organize tasks efficiently.
