Job Description
This position is on a 24-bed Elective Orthopedics unit focusing on post-surgical and orthopedic trauma care.
Provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs, applies sound nursing judgment, and collaborates with the team to develop and execute care plans.
Requires a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, valid NYS RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.
Minimum 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
The role emphasizes creating a caring environment while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.
