Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Elective Orthopedics unit (B3W) provides compassionate patient care in a 24-bed post-surgical unit specializing in orthopedic and total joint surgeries, as well as trauma and medical-surgical cases.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and assessing patient needs.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans, guides ancillary staff, and maintains professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
The role emphasizes creating a caring environment, active listening, and teamwork. Salary ranges from $68,640 to $70,699.20.
