Job Description
The Clinical Nurse I in Medical/Surgical Pulmonary Renal provides compassionate patient care through medication administration, treatments, and diagnostic evaluations.
Implements physician orders, performs procedures, and documents treatments according to policies and regulations.
Assesses patient needs, interprets test results, and applies sound nursing judgment for care management.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administers medications, and collaborates on care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current NYS RN license, and BLS certification.
Must have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and knowledge of quality improvement concepts.
Salary ranges from $33.00/hr to $63.98/hr. This role involves handling sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
