Job Description
The Float Pool RN provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and documenting care in compliance with regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests and assesses patient needs and responses to care.
Uses sound nursing judgment for patient management and provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow individualized care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff while maintaining professional standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Must adhere to confidentiality and information security policies to protect sensitive health information.
