Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow patient care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing diploma, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
The role emphasizes creating a caring environment, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to regulatory standards.
