Job Description
The Float Pool Clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments and tests, and documenting care according to regulations.
Assesses and evaluates patient needs, interprets diagnostic tests, and uses sound nursing judgment for care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Requires a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
