Job Description
The Float Pool Clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, recognizing the value of each team member’s work.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as prescribed and collaborates on patient care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, and strong communication and organizational skills.
