Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Operating Room assesses, plans, and manages patient care throughout their stay, ensuring smooth transitions and discharge.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and evaluating patient responses.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborates with the team to create care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Qualifications include a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and preferred prior nursing or PCA experience.
Must demonstrate knowledge of quality improvement and maintain confidentiality according to regulations.
The role is scheduled for day shifts with a salary range of $68,640 to $70,699.
