Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Operating Room assesses, plans, directs, and manages patient care throughout their stay, focusing on progress toward discharge and transitions within care.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and evaluating patient responses.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborates with the team to create care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Prior experience as a PCA or nursing assistant is preferred.
Must adhere to confidentiality and privacy standards, ensuring sensitive information is protected according to regulations.
