Job Description
Work in the Vascular Surgery department on day shifts, earning $68,640 – $70,699.20 annually. The units include 16 and 20 beds serving acute and chronically ill patients, mainly with vascular diseases, aged 18-90+, mostly 45-65. Care plans involve procedures like carotid endarterectomy and aneurysm repair.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing tests, and documenting care.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assess patient needs, respond to care, and provide primary/emergency treatment.
Administer medications, collaborate on care plans, and supervise ancillary staff.
Qualifications include RN licensure, 1-3 years Med-Surg experience, BLS/ACLS certification, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Must follow confidentiality policies, including HIPAA regulations.
