Job Description
This RN position in Vascular Surgery involves providing care for acute and chronically ill surgical patients with vascular conditions, including procedures like carotid endarterectomy and aneurysm repair.
Day shift with a salary range of $68,640 – $70,699.20.
Two units: one with 16 beds (private and semi-private rooms), another with 20 beds.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, assessing patient needs, and providing primary/emergency care.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills are essential.
