Job Description
This night-shift position involves managing patients primarily undergoing renal transplant procedures, including pre- and postoperative care for renal, pancreas, and combined transplants, as well as patients with End Stage Renal Disease requiring dialysis or access for renal replacement therapy.
Care includes extensive patient education on self-care to maintain health and graft function.
The unit also cares for general medicine and surgical patients with acute and chronic conditions, such as transplant complications, parathyroidectomy, nephrectomy, and dialysis access.
Treatment modalities involve IV therapy, antibiotics, transfusions, sterile dressings, tube feeding, surgical drains, and immunosuppressive therapy.
Position requires handling sensitive information with strict adherence to privacy regulations and confidentiality standards.
