Job Description
Manage night shift patients in the Renal Transplant unit, focusing on pre and postoperative renal and pancreatic transplant patients, including SPK and PAK transplants, as well as patients with ESRD requiring dialysis or renal access.
Provide care to general medicine and surgical patients with both acute and chronic conditions, such as transplant complications, nephrectomy, and dialysis access.
Administer treatments including IV therapy, antibiotics, blood products, sterile dressings, tube feeds, surgical drains, and immunosuppressants.
Offer extensive education to transplant patients on self-care to maintain health and graft success.
Ensure compliance with confidentiality and information security protocols, protecting sensitive patient data according to applicable regulations.
