Job Description
Manage patients primarily with renal transplant-related diagnoses, including pre/postoperative surgical patients, SPK and PAK transplants, ESRD patients needing renal access, and dialysis or telemetry patients.
Provide extensive education on self-care for transplant patients to maintain health and graft function.
Care for general medicine and surgical patients with varying acuity levels, including diagnoses like transplant complications, parathyroidectomy, nephrectomy, and access management.
Administer treatments such as IV therapy, antibiotics, blood products, sterile dressings, tube feeds, drains, and immunosuppressants.
Work may require access to sensitive protected health information, with strict adherence to privacy and security policies to ensure confidentiality and proper use of data.
