Job Description
Manage patients primarily with renal transplant-related diagnoses, including pre and postoperative surgical patients, SPK and PAK transplants, and those requiring renal replacement therapy or dialysis.
Provide extensive education to renal transplant and SPK patients on self-care to maintain health and graft function.
Care also extends to general medicine and surgical patients with varying acuity levels, including diagnoses like transplant complications and dialysis access.
Treatments involve IV therapy, antibiotics, transfusions, dressings, tube feeds, surgical drains, and immunosuppressive therapy.
Work may require access to sensitive information protected by HIPAA and other regulations, with strict confidentiality and access controls expected.
