Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Orthopedics & Spine Unit provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to create and follow a Plan of Care.
Directs ancillary personnel and maintains professional nursing standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Salary range is $68,640.00 – $70,699.20 annually, or $33.00 – $33.99 per hour.
The role involves handling sensitive information, with strict adherence to privacy and security regulations.
