Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Orthopedics & Spine Unit provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Excellent communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are required.
