Job Description
The clinical nurse in the Orthopedics & Spine Unit provides compassionate care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assess and respond to patient needs, providing primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and execute patient care plans, guiding ancillary staff, and maintaining professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required. The hourly rate ranges from $33.00 to $33.99.
