Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Orthopedics & Spine Unit provides compassionate, patient-centered care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs, responds to care requirements, and applies sound nursing judgment in care management.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborates with the team to develop care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality concepts.
The role offers an hourly range of $33.00 – $33.99 and emphasizes maintaining patient confidentiality and information security.
