Job Description
This clinical Nurse role in the Orthopedics & Spine Unit involves providing compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and documenting care per policies and regulations.
Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assessing patient needs and responses to care, applying sound judgment in care management.
Providing primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborating with the team to create and follow a comprehensive Plan of Care.
Guiding ancillary staff and maintaining professional standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, and strong communication and organizational skills. The hourly range is $33.00 – $33.99.
