Job Description
The clinical Nurse in Maternal Special Care provides compassionate, patient-centered care during night shifts, including medication administration, treatments, and diagnostic evaluations.
Implements physician orders, starts IVs, and documents treatments per regulations.
Assesses patient needs, responds to emergencies, and collaborates on care plans.
Guides ancillary staff, maintains professional standards, and applies sound nursing judgment.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.
1-3 years of RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential.
The role involves weekend, holiday work, and access to sensitive information, with a focus on confidentiality and compliance.
