Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Maternal Special Care provides compassionate patient and family care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, procedures, tests, and documents care following regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment in care decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the team to develop and implement patient care plans, guides ancillary staff, and maintains professional standards.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential. The role involves weekend and holiday commitments.
