Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Maternal Special Care provides compassionate patient and family care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment for care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the team to develop individualized care plans and guides ancillary staff to maintain professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma, associate or bachelorâs degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Excellent communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential.
The role involves weekend and holiday shifts, with a focus on creating a caring environment while ensuring compliance with confidentiality and privacy standards.
