Job Description
Seeking a full-time night shift RN for Labor & Delivery and Antepartum, with 3, 12-hour shifts weekly (7p-7:30a), including weekends and holidays. The RN will be cross-trained on both units.
Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments/tests, and document care according to policies and regulations.
Evaluate diagnostic tests and assess patient needs and responses.
Apply nursing judgment in patient care decisions, providing primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administer medications as ordered, collaborate on care plans, and guide ancillary staff.
Qualifications include graduate of a nursing program, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement knowledge are required.
