Job Description
The Float Pool Clinical Nurse provides compassionate, patient-centered care including medication administration, IV starts, treatments, and diagnostic evaluations.
Implements physician orders and documents treatments per regulations.
Assesses patient needs, interprets tests, and applies sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop patient Care Plans and guides ancillary staff.
Requires graduation from a recognized nursing program, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement knowledge are essential.
The role involves handling sensitive information with strict confidentiality and adherence to privacy laws.
