Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and documenting care according to regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests and assesses patient needs and responses to care.
Uses sound nursing judgment in patient management and provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required. The role involves handling sensitive information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
