Job Description
The Float Pool Clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the nursing team to create and follow patient care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Must have a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Requires 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential.
This role involves handling sensitive information securely and in compliance with privacy regulations.
