Job Description

The Float Pool Clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care, collaborating with the team to develop and implement care plans.

  • Responsibilities include administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments and tests, interpreting diagnostic results, and assessing patient needs.
  • Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, ensuring documentation aligns with policies and regulations.
  • Requires a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.
  • Must have 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Role involves safeguarding sensitive information per HIPAA and state regulations.
