Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool works evening shifts, providing compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
They assess patient needs, apply sound nursing judgment, and deliver primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaboration with the nursing team to create and follow a Plan of Care, while guiding ancillary staff, is essential.
The role requires a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Minimum 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
Must adhere to confidentiality and data protection policies regarding sensitive information.
