Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides compassionate patient care, actively listening and creating a caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, evaluating diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, valid NYS RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications.
Minimum 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
The role involves ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and safeguarding sensitive information.
