Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool works evening shifts to provide compassionate patient care, including administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
They assess patient needs, apply sound clinical judgment, and deliver primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborating with the team, they develop care plans and supervise ancillary staff to maintain professional standards.
Requirements include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
