Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides compassionate, patient-centered care during night shifts, contributing to a supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, and performs treatments and tests, documenting all procedures as per regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications and collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and upholds professional nursing standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care. Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential.
