Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, and documents care according to regulations.
Orders and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to create and follow patient care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, 1-3 years of clinical experience, and strong communication and organizational skills.
The role may involve handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy laws.
