Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides compassionate patient care, ensuring safety and effective treatment through medication administration, IV starts, and diagnostic evaluations.
Implement physician orders, perform treatments, and document care according to regulations.
Assess patient needs, interpret diagnostic tests, and make sound clinical judgments.
Provide primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and follow a Plan of Care.
Supervise ancillary staff and uphold professional nursing standards.
Qualifications include a nursing degree, valid NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
The role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and adherence to confidentiality standards.
