Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool works night shifts to provide compassionate patient care, including administering medications, starting IVs, performing tests, and evaluating patient needs.
They interpret diagnostic tests and develop care plans collaboratively with the team.
Responsibilities also include providing emergency and primary care for injuries and illnesses, and guiding ancillary staff.
Requirements include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
The role requires handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy standards.
