Job Description

The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool works night shifts, providing compassionate patient care and supporting colleagues.

  • Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and assessing patient needs.
  • Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborates on care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
  • Requires a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Must adhere to confidentiality and information security standards, handling sensitive patient data responsibly.
