Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool works night shifts to provide compassionate patient care, including administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
They assess patient needs, apply sound nursing judgment, and deliver primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborating with the healthcare team, they create and execute plans of care while guiding ancillary staff.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential. The role requires adherence to confidentiality and regulatory standards.
