The Float Pool Clinical Nurse provides patient care across various medical and surgical units, focusing on coordinating, assessing, and managing patient needs throughout their stay and transitions to discharge.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and assessing patient responses.
They collaborate with the care team to develop and execute care plans, supervise ancillary staff, and ensure high-quality, compassionate care.
Requirements include a nursing diploma, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and preferred experience as a PCA or nursing assistant.
