Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool assesses, plans, directs, and manages patient care across multiple specialties, focusing on discharge progress and care transitions.
Provides coordinated, compassionate care to patients in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, working with a diverse team.
Performs duties including administering medications, starting IVs, interpreting tests, and evaluating patient needs.
Collaborates on care plans, guides staff, and ensures quality standards are met.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, active RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, with preferred experience as nursing assistant.
Must demonstrate ongoing education, quality improvement knowledge, and adherence to privacy regulations.
Salary ranges from $68,640 to $70,699.20, with day shifts and shift differentials.
