Job Description

The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool assesses, plans, and manages patient care across diverse medical and surgical units, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.

  • Provides direct patient care, administers medications, performs treatments, and interprets diagnostic tests.
  • Collaborates with the team to develop care plans and guides ancillary staff.
  • Requires a nursing diploma or degree, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and preferably prior nursing assistant experience.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, nursing knowledge, and commitment to quality improvement.
  • Shift: Day, with shift differentials; Salary: $68,640–$70,699.20.
  • Role involves handling sensitive information per privacy regulations.
