Job Description
The Float Pool Night Nurse provides compassionate, patient-centered care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments and tests.
Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, interpreting diagnostic tests, providing emergency and primary care, and collaborating on care plans.
Ensures documentation complies with regulations and guides ancillary staff to maintain professional standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
This role involves handling sensitive information securely, following privacy regulations.
