Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and documenting care in compliance with regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment for care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, and collaborates with the team to develop care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, BLS/ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
