Job Description
The Float Pool Clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains nursing standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are required.
The role involves handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy laws.
