Job Description
The Float Pool Clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care by following physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments and tests.
Assesses and evaluates patient needs, interprets diagnostic tests, and applies sound nursing judgment.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborates with the team to develop care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Requires graduation from a recognized nursing program, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills.
The role involves working day shifts and may require handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy standards.
