Job Description
The Float Pool Clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments and tests.
Assesses and interprets diagnostic tests to evaluate patient conditions.
Delivers primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow a Plan of Care.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, and current RN license.
Requires 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
The role emphasizes creating a caring environment, respecting patient and staff needs, and safeguarding sensitive information per privacy regulations.
