The Night Medical/Surgical Hospitalist RN assesses, plans, and manages patient care during their hospital stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment for management decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop a Plan of Care and guides ancillary staff, maintaining professional standards.
The role involves handling sensitive information securely, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
